What is the max level on tinkers construct tools? ›

Currently, there is no limit of tool's level unless you place one in the mod's config file. Further tool's levels are currently capped at 32-integer limit. In creative, there is an item called Creative Modifier, which can add modifiers to your tools without limit. You can apply many stacks of Creative Modifier at once.

It requires Netherite and Reinforced V to apply the ability. It takes a total of 7 Modifier Slots and 1 Ability Slot to apply Unbreaking to a tool, requiring Bonus Modifiers, Rose Gold and/or Chain parts due to the Diamond requirement of Netherite, and the 5 levels of Reinforced required, along with Unbreakable itself.

Simply use pickaxes to mine, swords to slay, and more to level up each tool. Each level earned will earn a free modifier, but each level will double in difficulty.

The tools and weapons are listed as follows: sword, dagger, crossbow, hand axe, kama, mattock, pickadze, pickaxe, and flint and brick.

Most durable pickaxe: manyullyn pickaxe head, obsidian tool binding, manyullyn tool rod. Modifiers: 1 emerald and 1 diamond as well as an obsidian plate, you can decide for any extra modifiers yourself. This will net in 5250 durabilities for you to use.

Although a max level of 180 (only 30 levels higher than the max level of 150 of the normal wild counterparts) may not seem like much of a difference initially, if you are lucky enough to find one, it is always a good idea to tame such a Tek Creature.

Insatiable: Using the tool adds a level of insatiable for 15 seconds, limited to 10 levels. Increases speed and damage by (level / 3). Jagged: Gains bonus damage when tool is damaged. The more damaged it is (difference, not percentage), the more damage it deals.

Applying any of the below modifiers takes up one modifier slot, for which most tools have a default of three maximum adding a part made of paper increases it to four.

Added Killager, modifier from lapis that makes you deal more damage to illagers. Emerald now boosts conditional bonuses like smite, blasting, or killager. Diamond now grants +2 mining speed and +0.5 attack.

The Cutlass is a secret tool obtainable within Tinker's Construct. The sword is created like any other sword; with a tool rod and a sword blade. The Full Guard stencil, unlike other sword crossbars, uses 3 items of whatever material you choose and the Full Guard material counts towards the final tool durability.

Slimesteel can be obtained by combining Molten Iron, Skyslime, and Seared Stone in a smeltery, at a 1:1:1 ratio, yielding two ingots.

This only shows unequipped items, which is why you must first unequip anything you want to upgrade. Currently, the Blacksmith can upgrade gear up to level 251.

Tinkers' Tool Leveling

Gives your Tools XP, allowing them to level up. On levelup an extra modifier is rewarded. You get xp for doing whatever the tool was intended for, so breaking blocks with pickaxes, killing things with swords, etc.

Tinker's Tools is a type of artisan tool, just like smith's tools. Most classes do not give artisan tool proficiencies (except for Artificer, and they get Tinker tools for free). A background like Clan Crafter would grant them as a choice as would Guild Artisan. A Rock Gnome is also proficient in them.

You have to be in challenge mode first. Then you have to buy the Omega versions of each weapon to be able to level them again. The max level your weapons can get it is VX, which is basically lvl10.
